This assignment is the hardest one yet. As this is a similar project to the presentation boards done for Janda Baik, and yet it is much harder due to the required size of the boards and the amount of data, with a more professional layout and outlook to locate each information. Also, more qualified judges will be looking at our presentation boards.

To begin with this project, we had to go through a one day trip in pasar seni. The site that was chosen for us is near medan pasar and the Central Market Kuala Lumpur. Therefore, when we went there for site analysis, we had a lot, and i mean a lot of, information to collect. Too much info on all of the buildings there. And most importantly, i got to know a bit more about my first time group-mate, while taking it as a road trip.

However, after our first tutorial, we were told that we should be focusing on the streets itself, both the roads, and the pavement the pedestrians use. Therefore, we went there for another on our own, only our own group, The Louvre, which includes Yi Qing, Anson, Nicholas and Francis, to collect all the data we missed on the first time.

After the second tutorial, we went there for the third time in order to get more information, detailed ones, just to allow our boards to be filled with more details. Of course, we also had fun during the data collection.

You might be thinking did we go one more time. Well, yeah we did. And it was a very spontaneous action we did. It was a normal evening when we were doing our presentation boards layout planning, when we realized that we were missing some pictures, which we had to take while there were no cars on the streets. That means we have to be there before the sun comes up, which was 6 hours away when we made that decision, meaning we will only have about 4 hours of sleep. Sounds ambitious eh? We did it anyways. Other than the pictures we went there for, we also got our hands on extra useful information from a limited time event.

Right after we have finished up our data and pictures collection, we went into the making of the boards right away. It was a very long process, but, we put in a lot of effort and we managed to finish it early the day before the presentation and got some sleep for presenting.

Before the presentation, we quickly discussed who should be talking about which part of the boards, and practiced them few times before our turn. While presenting, i would say all of us did a pretty good job explaining to the judges even though a few comments on the boards were given.
