The third project for CTS, to make a comic strip, individually. Ugh, i know right, no teamwork project sounds boring. But this one is the most interesting one yet. As it doesn't have to be limited to a few topics, it is a project for our imagination to run wild, for us to think about the conversations that non-living things will have with each other, without the intervention of living things.
From the starting point, i have loads of ideas for my comic strip, and a lot which i thought was interesting. We have to start by thinking of the settings of the story, of the conversations being held. My mind immediately came up with my room, kitchen, table, factory and fridge, which come to think of it were all very boring, but my conversation ideas? Not so much. My IDJ explains it all.
With a combination of puns and funny names of hats, (yup, i chose hats, because i have lots of hats) and i love them, i made up the conversations between them and the transition of story line. While i went back to my hometown, i took the opportunity to take photos of the hats on my coat stand at home.
After that, i did a little more research on the hats and modified the conversations between hats until i was satisfied with them. Then, i did a lot of cutting and pasting with the photos i took and wrote the conversations manually, in order to finish my work of art.
